DJ Chad Carpenter

A native of Charlotte, Chad attended Western University where he worked as a DJ for a local radio station. That was just the beginning for Chad. Chad began working for his parents, who started a similar company to Split Second, and he was hooked. Years later- following his move up to New York, the birth of his son, and his move back down to North Carolina- Chad met Vinny. His demeanor and great rapport, along with his love for music and celebrating others, makes him your perfect DJ. His professionalism is utmost, allowing him to form those special relationships with every couple; constantly asking himself “what do they envision as a fun day for them?” Chad knows that the hardest work comes in the preparation leading up to the event. He has the complete flow of the day down, allowing him to do what he loves, and be that fearless party motivator. Most importantly, Chad realizes that conversations leading up to the event should be about getting to know his couples: who they are, their dynamics, and special moments that they’ve shared. His incorporation of these strong, special moments into that party section of the day is what sets him apart from other DJs.
